How do I register?

There are 4 easy ways to register:

Am I registered?  I did not receive a confirmation.

If you register online, confirmations are automatically sent out to the email you provided during the registration process. If you sent in a registration form by fax, you should receive an email confirmation within two weeks to the email you provided on the form. In either case, if you did not receive a confirmation, it may have been filtered out by a spam blocker. Please contact (817) 635-0302 if you have any questions or concerns about your registration status.

What is the difference between Full Show and Exhibit Hall Only?

The main difference is access. A Full Show Pass will give you access to everything, while an Exhibit Hall Only Pass gives you entrance to the exhibits and excludes you from the networking functions and seminars. Historically, attendees note receiving more return on their Conference investment by attending the entire show and not just the exhibit hall.

What is a source code?

Currently, the source code field is used for tracking purposes. It is not mandatory, and use of a source code does not provide a discount. However, if a discount if offered, we will give you a "promo" code to redeem your discount.

Why should I pre-register?

The biggest benefit to pre-registration is to save money and take advantage of association discounts. If you register by September 14, 2009 you can save up to $45.00.  Also, you will be listed on the published attendee roster so your contacts know to find you at LCT East.

Can I register onsite?

Yes. You are welcome to register onsite.  Just walk up to the registration desks located in the convention center to sign up.  Membership and early discounts do not apply to onsite registrations.

I need to cancel, can I get a refund?

Requests must be made in writing prior to August 21, 2009. Please forward cancellation letters to LCT Eastern Conference c/o Custom Registration, Inc. 2020 E. Randol Mill Road. Ste 307, Arlington TX 76001. A $50 processing fee will be applied. No refunds or credits will be granted, under any circumstances, after 8/21/09.

Can I transfer my badge to someone else?

Any name changes or transferring of badges may be done upon show management's discretion. Please fax requests to (817)277-7616.

How do I get my badge?

Pick up your badge onsite at the registration counter located across from the Uncas Ballroom. If you need confirmation of your registration you may call (817) 635-0302 or (800)576-8788.

Travel Questions:

Where do I stay?

The best place to stay is Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino so you can be close to the action. LCT has set up a special rate of $222 per night for LCT East attendees.  Make your reservations today.

How far is the airport from the hotel?

Boston Logan airport is 90 miles, New York JFK/LaGuardia is 120 miles and Hartford Bradley International is 50 miles.

How far is the hotel from the Conference?

The Conference is located inside the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino. It is approximately a 5-minute walk to the registration area from the guest elevators.

What is the best/cheapest way to get there from the airport
Of course you can rent a car at the airport, but if you don't want to drive yourself you can choose from these options.

Chauffeur Driven: If you are travelling from New York or Boston, we recommend calling the Mohegan Sun transportation department at (888)320-4577. If you are arriving at Hartford/Bradley airport, we recommend Lindsey Limousine. Lindsey Limousine may offer discounts to LCT East attendees and can be reached at (860) 289-5466.

Rail: Rail access from major Northeast cities to New London (just 20 minutes from Mohegan Sun) is provided by Amtrak or take Metro-North into New Haven, where taxi service is available.

Seminar Questions:

What seminars are the best for me to attend?

It depends on your specific needs.  The seminar content is broken into a basic and advanced track, so you can choose based on your level of experience.  Please email us if you need assistance selecting seminars.

How do I become a speaker?

The National Limousine Association (NLA) coordinates all educational content and speaker selection. If you are interested in speaking, please call the NLA at (800)652-7007.  The speakers and sessions will be finalized in June.

Can I go to the seminars with an Exhibit Hall Only Pass?

No.  If you would like to attend the seminars, you must purchase a Full Show Pass.

General Questions:

When should I get there?

If your schedule permits, it is best to arrive on October 6th, the event as starts early as 7:45am the next morning.  If you are attending only the exhibit hall, it opens Wednesday, October 7th at 5:00pm.  Check out our Travel Planning Helper for specifics.

When should I leave?

Anytime after 5:30pm, Thursday, October 8th. LCT has valuable sessions scheduled right up until 4:30pm with a Closing Reception until 5:30pm. Some of the best deals happen at the end of the show, so stick around! Also, the Mohegan Sun has wonderful restaurants and other attractions you can't miss while you're there. Where can I get a schedule of events?

How is it different from other East Coast events?

LCT East gets you in and out in two days. It's not dragged out over four days. You'll get quality time and quality contacts with minimal time away from the office.

LCT Magazine is the most prestigious limousine, tour, and charter publication in the world, and the NLA is the dedicated voice of the industry globally.  LCT events are refined, educational, and designed for serious-minded business people. 

What is the suggested dress attire?

During the conference dress attire is business casual or business dress and the evening parties are club/party clothes.

What do I need to bring?

You must provide identification onsite for admittance into the conference. We recommend you bring a stack of business cards and a list of your show goals.

Can I bring my children to the conference?

This is not recommended. The LCT Eastern Conference is not a family event and can be unsafe for children. Exhibitors and attendees will be looking and getting into the vehicles on the show floor it is difficult to see small children with the doors closed. Any child age 12 and above will need to be purchased a pass at regular price. As an alternative during Conference hours, Mohegan Sun offers Kids Quest/Cyber Quest, a childcare center for children as young as 6-weeks old.

Can I bring my spouse to the conference?

Yes. Spouses may attend the event. We do not have a special spouse pass; regular admission needs to be paid.

What is the NLA/NELA?

They are associations dedicated to the limousine and chauffeured transportation, and tour and charter industry.

The educational programming is produced in conjunction with the National Limousine Association. With more than 1,700 members nationwide, the NLA is the "voice of the limousine industry" to Washington, DC and on a national front.

NELA is the New England Livery Association. A non-profit corporation dedicated to promoting quality service and management in the ground transportation industry. Their member companies provide private ground transportation services throughout New England.

How do I become a member of the NLA?

Exhibitor Questions:

I am interested in exhibiting at the event what do I need to do?

The most important thing is to RETURN YOUR SIGNED SPACE CONTRACT with payment. This show assigns space in the order contracts are received, so the earlier you return your contract the better your location. We are unable to hold any space without a complete contract. Once we receive your contract, we will call you to discuss your space selection.

Move-In

Move-In will take place on Wednesday, October 7th from 8:00am - 3:00pm.  The vehicles will move in first, followed by standard spaces at 12:00pm.  Please note that vehicles longer than 35-feet will not be able to make the turn into the exhibit hall.  Please plan your exhibit accordingly.

Move-Out

Move-Out will start at 3:00pm on Thursday, October 8th.  Early tear-down STRICTLY PROHIBITED, so keep that in mind when booking your outbound flight.

Wednesday, October 7        5:30pm - 8:00pm

Thursday, October 8           12:15pm - 3:30pm

How do I ship my items for my exhibit?

The absolute best way to ship your items is to the advance warehouse.  You may use either FedEx or UPS, or our preferred freight carrier ElitExpo.  By shipping to the advance warehouse you ensure that your materials will be waiting for you when you arrive onsite.  If you have to ship directly to the Mohegan Sun, be sure to note that your shipment may be delayed by a few hours, even when shipping "early am" via FedEx or UPS.  See your service kit for details.

What are my choices for freight carriers?

For your convenience, LCT East recommends Elite Expo. Representatives from this freight company will be on-site to assist you. Although as an exhibitor, you are free to use whatever carrier you like to transport your materials.

Can I carry my own materials in without using the freight handling service?

In most cases, an exhibitor may bring in what can be hand-carried in one trip without the use of the loading dock or hand trucks. Refer your service kit for specific information.

I am an exhibitor do I need to register myself and my staff?

Yes - Badges will be required for all personnel to enter the exhibit area during move-in, move-out and show hours. Badges must be worn at all times while in the exhibit hall. Exhibitor Badges will only be issued to those working in the booth. Those helping to set-up or to teardown the booth will be given temporary worker badges - which will not be valid during show hours.

How many passes do I get with my exhibit?

Allotment breakdown is as follows:
8x10 Booths = 2 complimentary Exhibitor Badges per space
Vehicle Spaces= 4 complimentary Exhibitor Badges per space

If you have used your allotment of complimentary badges and require additional staff badges, or guest badges, you may purchase those passes at a discounted rate of $195 per person.

How do I register?

The LCT Eastern Conference has set-up online exhibitor registration for your convenience!
With a log-in and password which will be sent directly to the contact on your contract in a separate email, you can simply register your staff, make any changes, and keep track of your staff badges. If you prefer you may fill out the manual registration form and fax to (817) 277-7616.

I signed up for an exhibit booth space and need to cancel. Can I get a refund?

Payment is refundable if LCT East is notified in writing postmarked on or before August 21, 2009 less a $500 cancellation fee. Cancellation policy applies to all exhibiting firms. Failure to appear at the exposition does not release the exhibitor from the responsibility for payment of the full cost of space rented.

Will the exhibit hall be open during the seminars?

No. The exhibit hall will be closed during the conference hours. The registered exhibitors who have a badge are welcome to attend the seminars. Please review the schedule for more information.

Can I bring a vehicle?

Yes. Please see the exhibit space contract for pricing and information. Please note that vehicles longer than 35-feet will not be able to make the turn into the exhibit hall.  Please plan your exhibit accordingly. No exhibitor or attendee is permitted to display a vehicle in the parking lots or any area other than the exhibit hall.

Do I need to order Internet services?

The Mohegan Sun offers free wireless Internet access in the exhibit hall. Keep in mind that this is a shared connection, if you need a dedicated line you will have to order it directly from the Mohegan Sun.  See your service kit for pricing and order instructions.
